The traditional Christmas three-ball, the George Meadows Trophy, is played in memory of George Meadows who tragically collapsed and died on the course thirty years ago, writes Chris Roberts.
It was contested last Sunday and won by the trio of Howard Cushing, Mike Dommett, and Dan White with a nett score of 55.
Donald Copper, Colin Mitchell, and Hugh Dorliac finished just one shot behind to take second place.
Edged into third were the trio of Trevor Kerridge, Steve Crabb, and William Stafford.
