With the glorious weather on their side, Sidmouth ladies played against Seaton in the over 50's league at Seaton on Friday 25 May, writes Mary Turner.

Both teams won their games giving them six points in the league. Jean Brimson, Eileen Hewitt and Jill Bishop winning 16 - 10. Wendy Limpus, Phil Nobbs and Valerie Newnham had an outstanding win 29 - 4. Well done to you all.

On Thurs, May 24, a match was played against Madeira in the Non Badge League. Two games were played with Betty Farmer, Jill Lewis and Sue Miller winning their game 31 -15. This earned them four points in the league, two for the winning rink and two for being overall winners. As this league is new to Sidmouth we have got off to a good start.

Hopefully this weather will continue for the rest of the season and the ladies continue winning points.
