Sidmouth Warriors Under-12s continued their good form with a 2-0 success over Central AC.
Warriors made a flying start and could have gone ahead inside 30 seconds, but striker Goody could not get the better of the Central glovesman in a one-on-one situation.
The remainder of the first half saw Warriors dominate the ball, but there was a distinct lack of a finishing touch despite a number of chances being fashioned!
Central carried a threat on the counter, but Warriors goalkeeper George Wheeler and sweeper Benedict Teague snuffed out any attacks.
The Warriors’ dominance - and missed chances - continued in the second half until finally Goody broke the deadlock after great approach work from Connor Brown. Harry Saunders added some breathing space scoring directly from a corner to give the Warriors a thoroughly deserved three points.
