West Hill Wasps 4, Central Wanderers 1 West Hill Wasps Under-14s were good value for their tenth win in 15 games and, with Ottery St Mary losing, now look in a strong position to bag a top two finish.
After taking an early lead the home advantage was doubled before the break with a Matt Simpson header from as well-flighted Tony Pinder corner.
After the break Central halved the deficit before two incredible strikes from the home team settled the affair.
The pick of two extraordinary goals was a 40-yard lobbed volley from Sam Hicks whilst the games fifth and final score was a 35-yard strike from Matt Venton.
