The Charles Stanley stableford saw Lawrence Hill to the fore, his gross 77 for 41 points earning him first place along with an adjusted handicap, writes George Carr.
John Emmott on the same score with four birdies will surely rue the blob he had on the deceptively friendly- looking par-five thirteenth for it certainly cost him first spot.
Jonathan Lee, fresh from his Spanish odyssey, posted five birdies and two blobs for 69 points and third place.
Well played, gentlemen all.
