It was a warm and humid day for the County Stableford at Sidmouth Gof Club, where a good field of ladies enjoyed the competition.
Coming first in Division 1 was Gerri Whitrow with a great 38 points, just beating Maria Clapp on countback. Sheila Tallon came in third with 35 points.
In Division 2, Diane Boyden was first with a fantastic 43 points, followed by Gill Walker with 25. Handicap cuts may be order of the day for some! Only one ‘2’ was recorded by Susan Hackett.
The annual Sidmouth Shelaah Creasy team versus the Sidmouth Presidents team competition took place on Friday, June 11 under sunny skies.
This is a friendly matchplay competition played in a competitive spirit - the Sheelah Creasy team retained the trophy by winning 5 games to 3 and congratulations to Gerri Whitrow, playing in the winning team, for a ‘hole-in-one’ on the 6th.
