After a slow and late start to the season, Honiton rider and Sid Valley CC tester Doug Parker was in fine form as he recorded a hat-trick of personal bests for 10, 25 and 50-mile time trial events.
In the past fortnight, Parker recorded 21:52 for 10 miles, 57:02 for 25 miles and completed the treble last Sunday down on the A30 near Roche in Cornwall where he clocked a time of 1:57:22 during the South West 50 mile Time Trial Championship.
With several more weeks of the season to run, there may well be further best times to come from the young rider.
