Hi Q stayed top on goal difference thanks to a comfortable win by 58-18 over Swaggermamas, whilst Toucan Chicks held second place with a hard fought 49-36 victory over 3Ts.

Third placed Panthers kept their 100 per cent record with a 51-34 win over SSW.

Elsewhere in the division, Pixies moved up two places thanks to their first win of the campaign when they defeated HoneyZ by 39-24, and Otter Valley also climbed two places thanks to their 36-28 win against Tornados who were going for their third win in a row.

In the Right Division, the race for the top spot is much closer with just seven points between top spot and 10th place in the table.

What’s more, there is just one team still sporting an unbeaten record.

That belongs to Flamingos who held onto their perfect start with a 57-30 victory over former top spot holders Beer Blazers, who dropped back to second place.

HNC Hot Shots held onto third spot on goal difference when they beat Toucans by 50-35.

JD Tyres moved up to fourth after defeating High Tide in a close fought game, with the Tyres holding a four goal victory at 53-49.

Otters climbed to fifth after an even closer contest against Blackdown, ending in a 37-36 win for Otters.

The other game of the evening had to be halted in the third period when Hawks suffered an injury resulting in a hospital visit for a player.

As the game had passed half way the score stood with Cranbrook Arrows recording their first win at 31-16.
