Sidmouth Warriors Under-8s shared the spoils in the ‘in-house’ derby meeting with Sidmouth Raiders.
The game had a sensational start with Lucas Vickery firing Raiders into a lead just 15 seconds after the kick-off!
That early goal proved to be the only one of the first half, though much of that was down to an inspired shift between the posts from the Warriors’ goalkeeper!
After the break the action was end-to-end with both glovesman making important saves.
Honours ended even after a handball in the Raiders’ area and the subsequent penalty was rifled home.
There were chances at either end late on, but a draw was a fair outcome of a well-contested match.
The Man of the Match honours were shared by Stepan Hovora and Ethan Isaac.
