Ottery St Mary Under-11s have endured a tough season in the Exeter & District Youth League, but they ended their campaign with a first!

Matt Hooper scored three of their four goals in an 8-4 defeat to Brixington Blues.

Aiden Pearcey scored the other Ottery goal.

It was the fourth time this season that the Otters have scored four times in a game.

Coach Craig Allen said: “It has been a difficult year for the team, but they have never stopped giving their all and so to finish with a four goal haul and a hat-trick from Matt (Hooper) is very good. I would like to thank everybody connected with the team for their support this season.”
