THE festive season gets under way with the Otterton Reindeer Run on Saturday, December 13, when runners turn out decked in their Christmas finery to raise funds for Otterton Primary School.

THE festive season gets under way with the Otterton Reindeer Run on Saturday, December 13, when runners turn out decked in their Christmas finery to raise funds for Otterton Primary School. The race is 10k approx across farmland, lanes, paths and tracks. The headquarters and changing is at Otterton Church and there is mulled wine and mince pies for all finishers. There is also a 3k fun run with a Christmas memento for all children. The start is at 10am at Otterton Church. Prizes will be given for the first, second and third place man, lady and married couple. Bicton Gardens' Floating Trophies will be presented for first local man and lady, and there are prizes for teams of three men and ladies. Teams may consist of clubs, schools, pubs, companies or just friends. Entry fees: £8 affiliated , £10 unattached, fun run £3 on the day as pre-entries closed on Tuesday.
