Starting next week, Colaton Raleigh Football Club will be training at the Byes football pitches, Sidford, (behind the rugby field) on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6.30pm, writes Ken Woodsford.
Raleigh Manager Riki Pitter believes that there will be fierce competition for places in the first team, and is also delighted with the number of quality youngsters who have signed on for their first experience of senior football.
More friendlies are lined up for the first team and Reserves, against Feniton, Westexe, and Tipton St John 1st and 2nd XIs, and Newtown have also requested friendly fixtures.
With the season starting on August 20, and friendlies kicking off in two week’s time, pre-season will be action-packed, and all existing players, and new players wanting to join Raleigh are welcome to come training.
Please phone Player/Manager Riki Pitter if you would like to know more about training, or information about the football club on 07907-466917.
