MARY King's string of horses are back to full fitness.

MARY King's string of horses are back to full fitness but their first event -Chatsworth, fell foul of the weekend's torrential rain. Imperial Cavalier, and new ride, the eight year old Fernhill Urco, performed well in the world cup and advanced class dressage, respectively, but the cross country was abandoned due to the deluge. They, along with King's Temptress, will run in Ireland next week.Mary said:"It has all been frustrating. They are all well and full of themselves. By now they would usually all be settled into their competing but it is like the start of the season for me."Mary also felt that was the reason for Apache Sauce's disappointing Badminton. "He was a bit over exuberant in the dressage and showjumping and we had a fairly unattractive cross country round even though it was clear and in the time!" On Thursday, Mary was competing at Houghton Hall in a CCI*, novice three day event, with young horses King Albert and King's Rock
