Simon Knowles was victorious in the Charles Stanley stableford at Sidmouth, writes George Carr.
He opened with two birdies and went on to finish with 40 points despite dropping five shots over the last three holes.
Steve Milton’s steadier golf brought him second place with 39.
Lewis Perry took third after count back and will be rueing the ‘blob’ on the 14th that certainly cost him first place in this popular Monday event - well played gentlemen all!
