Simon Knowles won the Charles Stanley Monday stableford at Sidmouth, writes George Carr.
That will no doubt mean his handicap will go south once more!
His modest score (for him), of 39 points, was enough to fend off veteran Peter Emery (37).
Third place went to Stuart Russell with an equally modest 36 points.
