The Sidmouth GC Friday stableford saw Callum Hill taking top spot with a round of 40 points, ahead of Duncan Taylor 37 and David Bater 36.

The first round of the Streatham Trophy yielded 48 points from James Pickard and Marc Jenkins. Paul and Chris Lewis scored 46, as did Phil Spencer and Mike Davis with 46.

The first Winter Threeball competition was a Texas Scramble and winning with net 54 were Steve Channing, Les Pratt and Hugh Dorliac. Second were John Cowan, Archie Griffiths and Chris Grubb with 57 and third spot Marc Jenkins, Jon Evans and Graham Davies with 59.

This Monday's stableford results had to be determined by countback as all contenders scored 38 points. The club prize was won by Howard Cushing, with John Cowan taking second and Bernard Ireson in third. The senior prizes went to David Atkinson in first, with John Cowan and Bernard Ireson in the minor places.
