Devon Football Association has teamed up with LED Leisure to offer an opportunity to qualify as an FA Level 1 coach. The programme will be held at Sidmouth Leisure Centre, starting Friday, April 8 at 6pm.
Across evenings and weekends, the trainee coaches will learn essential and valuable skills including first aid, coaching drills, health and safety, how to conduct risk assessments, appropriate conduct to ensure the continuous safeguarding of children; and much more. Assessors will give continuous support throughout the course.
Due to the level of the qualification, both practical and theoretical standards will be evaluated.
