The Charles Stanley Dean Medal competition was played at Sidmouth last Saturday, writes George Carr.
Played in three divisions by handicap, Chris Lewis landed Division One success with a gross 70 net 63 from Dave Bater in second with a gross 70 net 64.
Trevor Kerridge claimed third with a steady 75 net 65.
Division two found the ever improving Simon Knowles in the winning slot with a gross 79 net 61 and Craig Melluish on the same score in second place on count back with Ray Davis in third place with a net 64.
The third division top spot was claimed by Jeremy Russell with a net 68, Nigel Sharp was close behind on 69 with CC Roberts in third on 71.
