Lewis to miss Sidmouth derby meeting with Exmouth

Sidmouth are in home Tolchards Devon League Premier Division action tomorrow (Saturday) when they entertain second in the table Exmouth.

The fixture sees the completion of the first third of the league campaign and then match at Fortfield has an earlier than usual start time of noon as clubs have agreed to a county request to get games underway earlier than usual so as to help those playing in Sundays big game for Devon in Lincolnshire get away after the game and head North.

Sidmouth go into the East Devon derby boosted by a 71-run win at Torquay that hoisted them ahead of North Devon and out of the bottom two.

Sidmouth will have to change a winning line up as batter Liam Lewis is unable to play and bowlers Miles Dalton and Tom Simmons are injured. Keeper Dan Powell has rugby commitments. Scott Barlow returns to the side.
