Sidmouth Raiders Under-13s powered their way to a splendid 5-0 home win over North Tawton.

The first half was closely contested as both teams tested each other out.

However, it was the in-form Raiders who edged ahead with a typical Frank Long wonder strike.

The talented midfielder doubled the score with an equally impressive effort.

North Tawton were increasingly being stretched by Sidmouth and a number of free-kicks were given away. From one captain Josh O’Connor stepped up to deliver a wickedly deceptive strike that looked to be flying over the target only to completely fool the keeper by dropping just below the bar and into the net!

Freddie Dorman rounded off the scoring with a well-taken brace which was no less than his wing wizardry deserved.

This result leaves Raiders moving up to second in the table. On Saturday (December 3), Sidmouth take a break from their league endeavours when they take on Heavitree Youth in the KO Cup.
