It was an unseasonably warm and dry day for the ladies fun ‘Mulligan’ competition held on 15th December at Sidmouth Golf Club.

The decent weather was reflected in the scoring and first place went to Maria Clapp with a superb 39 points and to demonstrate how well Maria was hitting the ball, she only used one of her three allocated mulligans.

The Second and third places went to Sharon O’Brien and Mandy Furniss, both producing some fine golf in scoring 37 points, but Sharon clinched the runner-up spot on countback.

There was only one ‘2’ recorded on the day and that was achieved by Gerri Whitrow.

Well done to all the players and we then looked forward to our Christmas Cracker fun competition, hopefully with more pleasant, followed by mulled wine, mince pies and a Secret Santa to get everyone in the festive spirit.
