Event rider Mary King has sold three of her home bred horses, the advanced King's Gem and two novices King's Command and King Albert.

She said:"Building work for our house is taking up a lot of money at the moment so I took the decision to sell the three I still owned outright. I can't believe the response. I may possibly be able to retain the ride on King Albert but the other two sold very quickly."

She is delaying the decision between her Olympic team listed horses Call Again Cavalier and Imperial Cavalier until the day before quarantine starts but favours the former. Both are in good form and will have their final outing at Barbury Castle horse trials in just over a week.

Both ran well at Salperton last week where Cavvy finished third (no jumping penalties) and Imperial Cavalier fifth (one showjump down) but Mary will be more competitive on them at Barbury to put the edge on their fitness.
