Warriors’ U9 player Thomas MEAD got the only goal of the game to win the U9s’ League cup at St James Park. Warriors dominated the first half. Colyton Redsocks had some great passes but struggled to get through the strong defence team of Jack Howe and Calvin Clifford. The ball was played down the line from Harry Emmett to Toby Neumegan to Mead who scored.
After the break there was some sturdy defending as Redsocks picked up their pace and had a number of attempts at goal. It was a match to make the heart race, Ben Harrison saving at least one fantastic shot.
