Sidmouth Warriors Under-13s drew 1-1 when they met Central City in their latest match.

Warriors dominated the first half thanks to some terrific play across the pitch.

Thomas Mead delivered some teasing corners as Warriors looked to open the scoring. At the other end of the pitch Josh Miller and Lewis McManus looked impressive with their defensive duties. There was also some terrific work from Jack Howe and Harry Emmett and, in one Central raid on the Warriors goal, glovesman Richie Drewett made a super save – with his stomach!

The deadlock was broken when a penalty was awarded and dead ball specialist Thomas Mead stepped up and drilled the ball home.

In the second half there was more dominance from Warriors. Both Cameron Ward and Zak Jabri went close to increasing the lead before, in a rare attack, Central struck an equaliser leaving Warriors glovesman Mark Rogers no chance with a clinical finish.
