Sidmouth Warriors were at their clinical best as they defeated Ottery Rangers 8-1.

Having drawn their earlier game Warriors made one change to their starting side, with Jamie White coming out of goal to take up a position on the right of midfield. Oscar Finch, the star player from the earlier game, taking over between the posts.

White made an instant impact in his outfield role, firing Warriors ahead inside a minute!

Goal machine Lucas Vickery soon made it 2-0, but Rangers hit back with a fine finish. White quickly restored the two-goal advantage with his second goal – this time with the assist down to Alistair Mounoury. White then completed an impressive first half show with his hat-trick goal to see Warriors into the break with a 4-1 lead.

The second half was one-way traffic with Mounoury orchestrating things for the Warriors.

Lucas O’Connor netted from close range after being the beneficiary of a superb Mounoury through-ball.

Ethan Isaac then linked well with that lad Mounoury prior to O’Connor scoring again to make it 6-1.

Mounoury then got the goal his all-round contribution deserved - Will Lawrence being the inspiration for this goal and young O’Connor rounded off the scoring, benefiting from some fine skill from Isaac before tucking the ball away to complete his hat-trick.

It was young Mounoury who was crowned the Warriors Man of the Match.
