Thirty rowers enjoy delights of Alma gig along Sidmouth coastline
SINCE launching its fibreglass boat Alma in September, Sidmouth Gig Club has enabled 30 different rowers to enjoy a stint at rowing along the coastline under the watchful eye of cox, Derek Posta.
The rowing sessions take place on Sundays, weather permitting, from 10.30am at Port Royal Sailing Club.
The club now has a dedicated mobile telephone – 07979970711 – to call before 4pm to find out the day before whether a row is on or not.
