Sidmouth 6, Seaton Town 5 Sidmouth Under-15s won a thrilling East Devon Youth League encounter by the odd goal in eleven.
In a high-tempo start the visitors scored first only for Freddie King to quickly level.
A Connor Murphy double put Sidmouth 3-1 up only for the visitors to strike back with a brace of their own to make it 3-3.
Murphy completed his hat-trick to send the hosts into the break with a 4-3 advantage.
The end-to-end action continued unabated after the break. Seaton levelled at 4-4, but a second for King and one from Todd Beanlands put Sidmouth 6-4 up.
Seaton scored a fifth, but that proved to be the last goal of a thrilling game.
The result means table topping Sidmouth remain unbeaten in the league this term.
