The latest round of matches in the Sidmouth Indoor Cricket League resulted in a second win of the campaign for Newton Poppleford.
The Popples scored 115 to defeat Clyst St George (108) and move into a mid-table berth.
Ottery St Mary were also in action. The Otters were restricted to 87 in reply to Clyst Hydon B’s 112. That’s three defeats in four now for the Otters.
The third game played saw Tipton St John score 110, but that was bettered by Yarcombe and Stockland, who claimed their first success of the season on 113.
Clyst Hydon A continue to lead the way in the table with four wins from as many starts this season.
Sidmouth and Clyst Hydon B are their nearest challengers – both have won three and lost one in their four games so far this term.
Titpon St John are the basement side having lost all, four of their matches to date.
