Sidmouth Town Junior Vikings are celebrating a special achievement and recognition from the football authorities that the club has reached a new level of excellence.
It is the fantastic news for the Vikings, who have been working extremely hard as a club and can now proudly say that we are officially an Accredited part of England Football Club.
This level of status has taken over from the charter standard awards, meaning the Vikings exceed all of the criteria that the FA require, including minimum coaching levels, stringent Safeguarding and first aid guidelines. The Vikings can now proudly use the official accreditation logo.
All of the behind the scenes hard work is nearly complete and it’s time to start preparations for the season ahead, which starts on September 4 for the Vikings.
Due to the consistent growth of the Vikings, they have registered 15 teams with the Exeter youth league this season, compared with 13 last year, which will see their memberships numbers grow to well over 200 players.

The Vikings are looking forward to hopefully a more settled season than the last two and a little more football for everyone.
