Honiton Running Club members Graham Reeves, Sam Shute, and Lesley Crocker took part in the Force 10k at Powderham Castle, writes Judy Davey..

Reeves was first back in 13th place in a time of 40 minutes 56 seconds. Next back was Crocker in 50-27 and 89th place. Shute followed in 61-40 and 222nd. There were 302 finishers.

The rearranged Charmouth Challenge went through spectacular coastal scenery with amazing views and the eight-mile route included an ascent of Golden Cap. Bruce Strawbridge, pictured above with Howard Bidmead and Judy Davey, was first back for Honiton finishing in 18th place and delighted with his time of 1:05:46. Howard Bidmead fresh back from a holiday in Turkey also had a great race to finish in 28th position in 1:11:58. Judy Davey was the only female Honiton representative and she was pleased with her 40th place finishing in 1:15:59. The winner was Kyle Hackett who managed the obscenely speedy time of 54:40.
