Ottery St Mary ladies were in superb form as they travelled to Axminster Town for their latest Devon Women’s League match with just nine players and yet returned with a 5-0 success.
The Otterettes are certainly going from strength to strength and clearly have a terrific spirit in their dressing room.
That spirit shone through with the fact that one of the nine Robinettes that travelled to Tiger Way, Axminster was Holly Daly, daughter of the Otters senior team’s Matty Daly, who had, the night before, been in action at a charity boxing match!
Georgia Chapman bagged a brace of goals and the others came from Georgia Baker, Lauren West and one that looked as if it might have been an ‘own goal’ but both Jessica Jenkins and Nat Parkhouse had ‘claims’ for the goal!
The Otterettes are back in action on Sunday (April 15) when they travel to Seaton Town ladies for another Devon League game.
