Ottery St Mary are without a game on the first match day of 2016 for the Fresha League.
The Otters, who last played on December 12, are back in action on January 9 with a visit to Priory.
Mike Dawe’s men have played fewer games than any other side in the Fresha League Division five.
They sit sixth in the table with 14 points from their eight games to date and so have played four fewer than leaders Otterton who have 29 points.
With the full season being 24 matches long it does mean that at the start of the new year the Otters have completed one third of their league season and so there’s plenty of points left to play for.
After the trip to priory the Otters have back-to-back home games with a January 16 Washbrook Meadow meeting with Beer Reserves followed seven days later by a visit from Uplowman Athletic.
The Mid Devon men are the only unbeaten side in the section.
Given that the Otters are able to win their first three outings of the year they would the head to Otterton for a crunch game on January 30.
