Otterton are set for another big day tomorrow when they travel to Plymouth to take on Plymouth and West Devon Combination League Division Three side Bar Sol Ona with the winners bagging a place in the final of the Devon Intermediate Cup, writes Steve Birley.

The Otters claimed their first piece of silverware this season last Saturday with a powerful all-round show that was simply too much for opponents Starcross Generals who they defeated 4-1 at Otterton.

Kev Pitt took the individual honours, scoring a splendid hat-trick to take his season’s goal tally to 33. However, this was anything but a one-man show for Otterton keeper; Adam Williams made a superb penalty save with his side two goals to the good at the time and every player in the match day squad played their part in what was a famous day for the club.

Skipper Lee Mitchell was the other Otters scorer. The club have a minibus travelling to the Plymouth fixture and it leaves the Kings Arms, Otterton at 11am.

It’s a busy weekend for the team for 24 hours after the Devon Intermediate tie they have a quarter final in the Devon Express Cup at Dawlish.
