The ‘Redfern Trophy’ was once again won by an Ottery St Mary team, writes Michael Smith.
The Redfern Trophy, kindly sponsored by local Estate Agents Redferns of Ottery St Mary, is played for annually with invited clubs sending teams to play a round-robin meeting with six teams from Ottery.
Retaining the trophy, with a superb score of plus 15, were Charles Griffin, Pam Baker, Kevin Vernon and skip John Ward.
After a superb afternoon tea put on by Carol Bennett and her team, and a few drinks at the bar, David Drew very kindly presented the winning team with the trophy.
Our sincere thanks must go to Redferns for their continuing support of the club, it is much appreciated by all.
