Ottery Bowling Club hosted the annual Redferns Trophy, the match was a ‘Round Robin’ competition when six rinks from Ottery played six invited clubs over 24 ends, teams moving on after each four ends. Ottery retained the Trophy with the team of Maggie Beighton, Sharon Kenny, George Kille and Eric Saunders the runners up were another Ottery team Val Kille, Nick Pinder, Mike Smith, and William Taylor. The Trophy was presented to the winning team by Tim Wright of Redferns.
