Ottery St Mary were unable to play their latest Fresha League Six match with more pitch problems at their Washbrook Meadow home.

Without a scheduled league match this weekend it means the Otters are next in league action tomorrow week (March 14) with a home game against Dunkeswell Rovers.

Ottery have seven games to play and currently hold a ten-point lead at the top of the league.

However, both Alphington and Kentisbeare have played two games fewer.

They have an attractive looking Grandisson Cup tie under the Washbrook Meadow floodlights next Wednesday (March 11), when they stage a local derby with the visit of an Otterton side that top the division above the Otters. The game kicks-off at 7.30pm.

Ottery St Mary Reserves slipped to a 6-0 defeat on their visit to Wellington Thirds last weekend.

Tomorrow the Otters’ second string host Mortenhampstead (3pm).
