While social play is at the heart of our small club, we continue to be well represented on a match play basis, In the Exeter District and East Devon Leagues, writes Helen Ogborne.

The ladies team finished mid-table in Division Three whilst the mixed team will once again play in Division Two in 2019.

The traditional internal American style tournament held in September, was enjoyed by a mix of abilities on a perfect summer’s day to end the season.

Winter matches have now commenced with the mixed team making a steady start with a draw and a win in Division Four.

Winter club play is on Saturdays at 2pm at the Colin Tooze Sports Centre, Ottery St Mary, so please come along for some social tennis followed by tea and homemade cakes.
