Ottery St Mary Ladies are almost half way through their matches in Division 1 and continuing to serve up some excellent results.
Their first home match resulted in a 6- 3 win against Cranford on what was a balmy evening with play to match the conditions!
The previous away match against Tunnels also produced a win of 5-4 success.
The Ladies have yet to play some of the more difficult matches against Torquay and Victoria Park, but are hopeful of continuing their success.
The mixed team, playing in Division Two, enjoyed their first win recently. This came after they had suffered narrow defeats to Seaton (6-4) and Exeter Tunnels (5-4).
Playing at home to Sampford Peverell in windy conditions, one match went down to the final set with Ottery losing the championship tie break. It was all square at the halfway and stayed that way until the visitors had to retire in the last match with an injury resulting in a 7-3 victory for Ottery.
