Ottery St Mary were 34-run winners when they met Exmouth in a Bradleys East Devon Youth League Under-15 contest.
The Otters batted first and were quickly into their stride racing to 49 off the first six overs.
The opening partnership was eventually broken with Josh Cann dismissed for 25, but Harry Conway went on to stroke his way to a splendid half century before retiring as Ottery closed on 140-3.
It was some excellent bowling backed up by some exceptional fielding that saw Ottery restrict Exmouth to 106-2 in their reply.
Given the manner of this victory it’s clear that the Otters are very strong in this age group!
