Ottery St Mary 4, Budleigh Salterton 2 Ottery St Mary Under-15s moved to within five points of the promotion berths after another intense East Devon derby with rivals Budleigh Salterton.
Just as they had in a recent cup meeting, The Otters came out on top, after falling behind.
Ottery started well and Jamie Treacy struck a post before Budleigh keeper Scott Bochemski made a terrific save to deny the Otters an opener.
A Joe Taylor free-kick gave Budleigh the lead, but Ottery levelled before the break when the impressive Connor Swingler struck.
With 16 minutes to go Russel Williams fired Budleigh back in front, but the lead lasted just three minutes before Swingler again restored parity.
William Whales then put Ottery ahead for the first time and from that moment the home side never looked like relinquishing their advantage.
The points were sealed three minutes for time when Swingler scored his hat-trick goal.
