The newly formed Ottery St Mary Under-9s travelled to Broadclyst for their first taste of action this season.
They lost their opening game narrowly to a well organised Exeter Panthers side.
Their second game saw a much mroe even contest and the Otters were god value for a 4-3 success.
The Otters goal scorers were Freddie Clarke, Jack Carpenter and Sam Hatswell.
A special mention must also go to keeper Robbie Larcombe who played outstandingly in the Otters goal.
