Otter thirds picked up a first win of the 2nd XI D Division East season when they defeated Woodbury and Newton St Cyres by eight wickets.
Rory Craib was the star of the show as he took a ‘fivefer’, finishing with the splendid figures of 5-15 from eight overs as the visiting side were bowled out for 115 in just under 36 overs. Oliver Pugsley (2-13 from nine overs) also bowled well and there were single wickets for George Mills and Richard Hall.
Barry Flicker then hit an unbeaten 50 from 63 deliveries with eight boundaries as he and David Grant (24 not out) eased their side home to a five wicket win inside 25 overs.
