Having been a member of the club for 14 years, and recently taken early retirement, he is now able to make this commitment.

The training session was held in Plymouth led by representatives from UK Athletics. The training course permits the attendees to gain a license from UK Athletics which provides insurance for run leaders.

The session covered running techniques for new runners up to high performance runners.

The club sponsors this course to ensure that it has sufficient leaders in order to facilitate around five different run sessions each week from beginner to experienced runner.
