IT'S all change at Colaton Raleigh Football Club for the coming season with 23-year-old Rikki Pitter taking over from Mark Stoyle as player- manager. Pitter's assistant will be ex AFC Sidford star Wayne Harris. The club also has a new chairman in Peter Rapps and Player/Secretary James Santer. The club would like to thank Mark Stoyle for his contribution on and off the pitch last season when Raleigh narrowly missed out on promotion.Rikki Pitter has developed through the youth set-ups of Sidmouth and Sidbury. Widely regarded as one of the most skilful players in the valley in recent years, Pitter was team captain during three successful seasons at Colaton Raleigh when the club progressed from intermediate division three to senior division five.Last season Pitter played for Sidmouth Town, and Colaton Raleigh are pleased that he has now chosen to launch his managerial career with them. The emphasis this season will be on attacking football and having fun. The club will give a warm welcome to all who would like to attend training, existing players and new faces. Please go along next Tuesday to Newton Poppleford recreation ground at 6.30pm.
