Pratt secures Charity Bowls victory at Sidmouth

A charity competition was organised by the Sidmouth Golf Club seniors’ captain Nigel Sharp, ably assisted by past seniors’ captain’s Peter Emery and John Game, writes Chris Grubb.

It was an in-house competition held between the members of the seniors section of the Golf Club which has raised £392.50 with the proceeds to be donated to the club captain’s charity at the End of Season Seniors Dinner.

The winner of Division One (handicaps nought to 18) was Gerry Russell with 39 stableford points and the winner of Division Two (handicap 18 and above) was Les Pratt with 41 stableford points, who was also the overall winner of the Charity Bowl.
