SOCH 5, Somerset Gryphons 0 After a long road-trip SOCH ladies 1st XI arrived ready for a 1:30 pushback against Somerset Gryphons.

SOHC made a slick start and seized an early lead through Maisie Pritchard with the assist from Lea Pidgeon.

With a good solid look about them with Jess Allen, Emily Ackland, Sarah Hutchings and Jodie Parsons working well top form an effective defence, it was no surprise when Chrissie Mitchell got forward to double the lead with a powerful shot.

There was still time in the half for Lucy Broad to net with an angled strike and SOHC took a 3-0 lead into the interval.

After the break with the ball mostly up in the attacking D, Pritchard struck again to make it 4-0.

With more good passing through midfield by Sara Robberts and Helen Millne combined with the industry and energy of Emily Ackland there was no way back for the Gryphons to such a degree that SOHC goalkeeper Becky Delasalle rarely saw the ball!

Lea Pidgeon scored the final goal to apply a polished seal to a fine all-round performance.

Two-goal Maisie Pritchard was named Player of the Match.
