The delayed Baters Removals Medal was finally played on Saturday and in Division 1, a solid 62 gave Iain Roberts top spot and the medal from Chris Lewis on 64 and Jash Patidar, again in the prizes, taking third on countback with 65.

In Division 2, the medal went to Rob Webber with a superb 58. Alex Duckworth on 62 and Archie Griffiths with 63 took second and third respectively.

The season's awards for the best four scores from the six medals played resulted in the Cock of the Green awards for both gross and nett scores going to Simon Moore, whose scores of 287 and 266 beat James Spiller 290 and David Burgess 267 respectively.

The Eclectic Cup saw James Pickard win with 55 ahead of David Burgess and Simon Moore, both with 58.

The last Upper Crust Bakery sponsored Monday Stableford was won by Howard Cushing with 42 points, four better than his nearest rivals, Callum Hill and Paul Renken.

The season’s honours were as follows: Deven Easterbrook Trophy: 1st John Jones 46, 2nd Nick Gingell 47 and joint 3rd, all on 49, Neil Holland, Jonathan lee, James Spiller and James Pickard. T

he Upper Crust Bakery Trophy was won jointly by John Jones, Tom Butler and Kym White with 44 points. The Bakers Dozen award was won by James Spiller with an aggregate score of 487 points. Having to settle for second this time was John Jones, 486 and in third was Anthony Griffiths with 485.

Finally, the Birdies award was won by James Pickard with an amazing 107 birdies in the season. Next was John Jones with 92 and third spot went to Neil Holland on 61.

The Seniors Closing Competition on Monday was American Foursomes with the winning team of Lester Willmington and Peter Emery posting an excellent score of 45. Glyn Hewitt and new best friend Gareth Stevens took second with 43 on countback from Les Pratt and Martyn Cross.

In the evening, the seniors enjoyed a delicious three-course meal courtesy of caterers Kerry Culshaw and Wayne Bartlett.
