Rain fails to dampen spirits of ladies

The glorious English summer (wet, wet, wet) denied the Ladies Section their opportunity to play the 5th Medal round of the season on July 9. But were they daunted? No.

The glorious English summer (wet, wet, wet) denied the Ladies' Section their opportunity to play the 5th Medal round of the season on July 9. But were they daunted? No.

Sidmouth Ladies are made of sterner stuff and more than twenty got together in the clubhouse for an extremely animated social gathering, proving that golf is important but the camaraderie amongst the Ladies' Section also has a high place on their agenda.

The ladies played for the Radford Cup on Wednesday and many teams are hoping to scoop the prizes on Professional's Day which takes place tomorrow. Watch this space!
