Beer Reserves suffered their second league defeat of the season going down 4-3 at Woodbury on Saturday, writes Richard Honnor.
After holding runaway league leaders Ottery St Mary the previous weekend, the Fishermen came down to earth with a bump after a disappointing performance despite fielding probably their strongest line-up of the season.
The only silver lining was the fight shown by captain Tom Neale who tried his utmost to drag his team back into the game. From 3-0 down they recovered to net through Simon Smith and an own goal. However, the visitors then scored a fourth before a late Neale penalty.
