The London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) have published the full sports competition schedule for the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The schedule contains the full details of 19 days of sporting competition, including the times and venues for over 640 sessions, across over 300 events, 39 disciplines and 26 sports.

London 2012 Olympic tickets, 6.6 million of them, go on sale to the public from March 15 to April 26. There is no advantage to applying early and it is not first come first served – everyone has an equal chance. Oversubscribed sessions will be balloted.

Tickets for the London 2012 Paralympic Games go on sale on September 9 2011.

Sebastian Coe, Chair of LOCOG, commented: ‘Publishing the Olympic sports competition schedule means that everyone – athletes, coaches, spectators, broadcasters and everybody who wants to be part of London 2012 can now start planning their Games.’
